The Maple Top Work Table with Galvanized Base is a durable work table that adds extra workspace to your kitchen. At 36 inches high, the 1.5-inch hard rock maple wood top is the perfect height for food preparation. Choose from a natural oil finish, which soaks into your wood fibers to create a tabletop cutting board (keep in mind that you must maintain this surface with regular oiling) or a Varnique semi-gloss finish, which seals and protects the wood, but can’t be used for cutting. The cart’s base is 100-percent per-galvanized steel, so you get the real thing—no plated steel, here! The 18-gauge galvanized steel bracing and 16-gauge galvanized steel legs ensure a sturdy work station. Customize the cart with an optional stainless steel drawer, convenient storage shelf or casters to add mobility; view the options in the drop-down menu to find the perfect one for your kitchen. And the Maple Top Work Table with Galvanized Base meets the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) guidelines.
Please note: If you would like the caster wheels or shelves with your table, please be sure to add them to your order when you make your purchase. These items are made to order. When caster wheels or shelves are added to an order at the time of purchase the legs are pre-drilled and cut in production to accept them. You will not be able to easily obtain or add caster wheels or shelves to your table separately at a later date, so if you think you will want either of these items with your table, please use the drop down menu above to include them with your order.

John Boos & Co is firmly committed to managing environmental matters as an integral part of their business practice. Some of the steps they take to accomplish their "green" status include manufacturing wood products that emit far less carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, methane and other gases than processing non-wood substitutes; using only formaldehyde free and low emission formaldehyde gluing processes in manufacturing our butcher blocks; and having active recycling programs in place with 95% of all raw materials, scrap, and even their sawdust recycled as fuel to heat their kilns. Boos' sawdust is also recycled as livestock bedding for their local agricultural needs.
