As practical as it is attractive, the Hard Rock Maple Work Table with Shelf and Galvanized Steel Base features a 1.5-inch thick Hard Rock Maple top and a base made of 100 percent pre-galvanized steel--not plated steel. The legs are made of sturdy 16-gauge galvanized steel. The shelf is made of 18-gauge galvanized steel and is secured in a fixed position 12 inches above the floor. This work table stands at a comfortable 36 inches high -- the perfect height for food preparation tasks -- and comes with 1-inch adjustable galvanized bullet feet for easy leveling on most surfaces. The Hard Rock Maple Work Table with Shelf and Galvanized Steel Base is NSF-Approved.
The maple top of this work table is treated with a natural oil finish that soaks into the fibers of the wood to create an optimal food preparation surface. You can also order this work table with an optional Varnique semi-gloss finish, which seals and protects the wood, but is not to be cut upon directly. An optional stainless steel roller bearing drawer, shelf, and casters are also available to customize this work table to your requirements. Please use the drop-down menus above to select the finish and options that are right for you.
Please note: if you would like caster wheels with your table, please be sure to add them to your order when you make your purchase. This item is made to order. When caster wheels are added to an order at the time of purchase the legs are pre-drilled and cut in production to accept the casters. You will not be able to easily obtain or add caster wheels to your table separately at a later date, so if you think you will want casters with your table, please use the drop down menu above to include them with your order.

John Boos & Co is firmly committed to managing environmental matters as an integral part of their business practice. Some of the steps they take to accomplish their "green" status include manufacturing wood products that emit far less carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, methane and other gases than processing non-wood substitutes; using only formaldehyde free and low emission formaldehyde gluing processes in manufacturing our butcher blocks; and having active recycling programs in place with 95% of all raw materials, scrap, and even their sawdust recycled as fuel to heat their kilns. Boos' sawdust is also recycled as livestock bedding for their local agricultural needs.
