UPS and FedEx Shipping Information
UPS and FedEx Shipments
UPS and FedEx ground shipments generally take between 3 and 7 business days to arrive at your door once they leave the warehouse. If the item you've ordered ships via UPS or FedEx, you will be able to track your shipment online using the tracking number and link we send you in your shipment notification email. Tracking your shipment online makes it easier for you to plan to be home or at the delivery location when your item is delivered. It is best to be present when the UPS or FedEx shipment arrives so that you can sign for the package, inspect it, and bring it indoors. Your UPS or FedEx driver may leave the package at your door without a signature; however, this is up to the discretion of each individual driver and in some cases rather than leave the package, a driver may leave a note and attempt to redeliver the item the next business day. UPS and FedEx will make up to three attempts to deliver your item. If you are not there to receive the item after the third delivery attempt, the package will be held at a local delivery terminal for five business days, during which time you can pick it up at the terminal. After 5 business days have elapsed, the package will be considered undeliverable, returned to the warehouse, and processed like a standard return.
UPS and FedEx Damage Claims
When accepting UPS or FedEx shipments, be sure to fully inspect the contents of the package for any damage that may have occurred during shipment. DO NOT discard the original boxes or packaging until you are sure the item is free of any damage. If you do discover damage, please retain all the original boxes and packaging and contact us immediately so that we may assist you. All damage claims must be reported within 7 days of delivery. We regret that after 7 days have elapsed, or if you do not keep the original boxes and packaging, we may not be able to assist with your damage claim.
If you report damage from a UPS or FedEx shipment within 7 days from the date your item is delivered, you will have the option of either a) receiving replacement parts for your item, b) getting a replacement item, or c) returning the item on a damage claim and obtaining a full refund. The options available to you may vary. Whichever options apply, we will do our best to expedite your case and resolve your claim as quickly as possible. Please note that the amount of time it takes to build and ship a replacement for a damaged item is equivalent to the original processing time on your order. In cases of made-to-order items, your replacement will need to be built and then shipped to you. We always do our best to expedite replacements on damage claims; however, in cases of made to order items, we cannot guarantee that the replacement will ship out faster than the original processing time on the order.
UPS and FedEx Expedited Ship Options
UPS and FedEx shipments can also be purchased with expedited shipping, such as 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air. If you need your item in a hurry, choose one of these options at checkout. Please note that if you select 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air, the shipping cost calculated at checkout will be an estimate only; a customer service representative may contact you after you place your order to obtain your approval for the correct charge. Also note that expedited shipping only shortens your order's transit time; the processing time, or the amount of time it takes an item to leave the warehouse, is the same whether the item ships via ground or with an expedited ship method.
